This unique piece was owned by one of the Chinese opium drug lords during the times that the opium workers were enslaved by the Chinese imperialist merchants. He would use the bed to entertain his concubines. Notice that the length of the bed is shorter them the width of the bed due to the physical makeup of the people at the time.
