When China opened it's doors in 1971, Jack Mamiye was on the first flight there. At the hotel in Beijing, Jack bid on a Chinese art collection which turned out to be a great fortune. Jack and his family started a Chinese art business in the mid 70's, and he has been building his collection ever since.
